Please review the proposed bylaws prior to the meeting on February 13^th. I'll email them to all members on or about February 1. These things can be dry, so you should minimally consider:

Running for office

All officers will be members of the executive board and will have to attend one extra meeting per quarter. Terms are 2 years. NDDC's offices include:

President

First-vice president

Second-vice president

Secretary

Treasurer

Director of membership

Director of political action

Director of fundraising

Director of communications

Director of special events

Purpose

We support the Democratic Party! Specifically, "It shall be the purpose of this organization in all of its endeavors to contribute to the growth and influence of the Democratic Party, to develop leadership, to increase Party responsibility, and to maintain and promote harmony within Party ranks."

Quorum

We already have 50 members in the organization. At least 20% of our members must show up at the next meeting to pass anything.

We will elect officers and "formally" adopt bylaws. Please review the bylaws prior to the meeting. Copies were distributed and informally adopted at the last meeting. I will post a summary on the site, and I will email a complete copy to all members

Please consider running for an office. We want to involve many people in the NDDs.
